In the beginning, Jerald Vincent was just a kid from Raytown , Missouri who came to Miller-Marley to take dance lessons. On many occasions, without a car or enough change for bus fare, Jerald hitchhiked or begged rides to get to the studio. Now, Jerald Vincent is a successful Broadway actor / singer whose resume is a testimonial to the fact that hard work, ambition and persistence can lead to the fulfillment of one's dreams. Jerald got his start as an ensemble member in the original Broadway cast of Elton John and Tim Rice's version of the classic opera, Aida. This led to a supporting role in the, national tour of Disneys Aida. He was the first African-American to portray the Beast in the nationals tour of Beauty and the Beast and most recently played opposite Martin Short and Jason Alexander in the hit Broadway musical, The Producers. On his way to the top he performed on the Las Vegas nightclub circuit, danced in music videos with Janet Jackson and appeared in an impressive list of television shows and commercials. His film credits include Coming to America (with Eddie Murphy), Naked Gun 33 1/3 and The Flintstones. Jerald has acted as a mentor for many young, aspiring actors. Regarding his mentor, Jerald stated, "None of this would have been possible without the unconditional love and guidance of Shirley Marley."
