Laura Branson



Laura Bransonis from Los Angeles, CA. She began her dance training at the age of five at Caravan Dance Studio in Palmdale, CA and later became a valued instructor there. She has studied with Ballet Magnificat! in Jackson, Mississippi as well as Joffrey Ballet in New York City. Laura has been a head instructor for the National Dance Alliance for seven years teaching dance camps all across the United States and has worked as a judge at various dance competitions. She is a former member of the Antelope Valley Ballet where she has performed featured roles in The NutcrackerA Dancer’s LifeSports, Pop Goes the Ballet, and Giselle. She has also performed in Antelope Valley College’s production of Dance Dimensions in 1998 and again in 2000 performing the Peasant Pas De Deux from Giselle. Laura holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma. While at the University, she was a company member of The Oklahoma Festival Ballet dancing in Prêt a Porter, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Young Choreographer’s Showcase. In September and November of ‘04 as well as March of ’05 she was asked to go to Croatia and Slovenia to be a part of Školske Rukometne Lige, touring the countries, teaching dance to students in primary and secondary schools.
